The Golfing Union of Ireland has 27 Golf Clubs listed for Co. Wicklow and all are accessible from Macreddin but one of the best is literally on the doorstep.

Macreddin Golf Club was designed by Paul Mc Ginley and it is a magnificent 18 hole, Par 72 golf course set on 160 acres of tranquil woodland splendour.

Woodenbridge Golf Club is just a 15 minute drive away and it is also one of the most scenic courses in Ireland. It is renowned for its superb condition as it nestles between rivers and mature forests.

Also a short drive away are Arklow Golf Links, adjacent to the Irish Sea, and Coollattin Golf Club in stunning countryside in Coollatin Park, Shillelagh. Drudis Glen, Rathsallagh, Tulfarris, Wicklow are some of the other clubs worth exploring whilst based in Macreddin.
